Wilson David Steen III, 56, died Saturday, July 15. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Alameda Church of Christ in Norman.
Mr. Steen was born July 14, 1950, to Joyce Steen and the late Dr. Wilson David Steen. He graduated from Norman High School in 1969 and attended Oklahoma Christian College. After 31 years of dedicated service, Mr. Steen retired from the Oklahoma State Health Department due to illness in July of 2005. During his tenure, he was a member of the Public Health Association and received many honors for service.
Mr. Steen is survived by his mother; sister Kathy McLaughlin; brother-in-law Scott McLaughlin; niece and nephew Kathryn and Conner McLaughlin; and many relatives and friends.

I think it's great when I lived on W. Hughbert St, Wilson lived 2 houses West of me. When he left for work, you made sure to give him the right of way. Yes, Wilson was a unique person. Over the years, I was glad to have him as a neighbor.
